Beware of online games scams

Scammer are everywhere not only in real-life or in businesses but also through online games. How could this happen? As I mention from my previous post, the player in online games is someone who play and they are unpredictable as you are, such in real-life any stranger to you will be hard to tell what their intention really is. If in real-life got such a liar, in online world there are scammers who will do dirty work as leisure.

How do you want to avoid from being scam? Well, for me it’s simple, do the hard way instead of doing the easy way. As a gamer, there is not much fun to not going through the gameplay from the beginning. Of course in any games, you need to level up your character to get more powerful as the level goes higher. These are the challenge that players should have while playing any games instead of getting an easy way as cheating or buying a full developed character from other players which you might get scammed by.

Even if you want to sell your character you will also have a risk to be scammed by the other players who act as they are interested to buy it. If really need to sell your game account, it is better to sell it face-to-face rather than trusting the person doing transaction via online. Both parties actually at risk of getting scammed. If you are the type of gamer whose lazy enough to go through the gameplay challenge, make sure to observe your buyer/seller from any reliable sources. If you are the seller, try to avoid giving the other player to try out or have a look of your game account because once you give it, you are at risk of being scam. Ask around with other players whether the person that you are dealing with can be trusted or not. Again, beware of the online crooks, they may look nice and trustable but who knows what their real intention is.

Online games and Human Emotions

Online games has since became an evolution of sort that gamers play through online and experience personal thoughts and feelings. This comes from communication between game players and not just from the game itself. This means gamers from around the world unite in one virtual world turned real-life as they communicate together regardless in groups or personal.

My experience of online games is like getting into a virtual chat room where not only for enjoying the game, but also develop friendships and if you got lucky, it might actually bring you to a relationship. Nowadays, games can get you into relationship while playing games where previously people use chat room to get into friendships or relationships. In Online games, players easily develop emotional feelings since it's based on virtual characters or avatar to repesent each player, and communication between players still using the chat console to create meaningful expressions. What I meant by getting emotional is that players somehow seems to be affected by other people doing just like real-life where players develop the emotions sad, touched, mad, happy and others human emotions. Having relations in online games are no different from real-life because we are still human, and its unpredictable sometimes when they are sincere or fake towards other players. How the players really are in real-life will somehow is the same person jsut that they are in online. Through out playing online games it can be exciting yet it can be frustrating if knowing that the other players did something mean or provoking the person.

Whatever it is, always be cautious in online games as we did in real-life. And choose friends carefully. Also if you plan on starting relationship with someone online, will be risky since you don't very well know what kind of person they are but try not hurt yourself and develop hatred towards online games. So, overall online games somehow do play a part with our emotions.

My RAN Online in Memories Screenshot

My RAN Online Story, my first online games

Ran Online is the first free-to-play online games that I’ve played after been introduced by an aquaintance in 2008 and still currently active playing it till now. RAN Online was develop by a Korean game developer Min Communications Inc in 2006 and has expand worldwide through egames.com. The game is a 3D fantasy adventure, Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) action games. The game is about students defending their schools from a corrupted syndicate organization that cause chaos to the city. It consists of 4 based character classes where player can choose to be an Archer, Shaman, Brawler or Swordman. Each class has its own specialty and purpose depending on how the player build their character.

Throughout my experience playing RAN Online, I made plenty of friends and most of them are Malaysians. This game develops friendships as well as in-game foes which makes the game interesting. Though there's alot of cases whereby players became emotional and sensitive when they are killed by other players during Leveling time, Player Killing time (PK), and also Guild Wars. It's fun to play and makes the game more alive. It also develops teamwork spirit in each player during leveling, player killing (PK) time and also at Guild War events. Building up character statistics and level is essential as it determine your survival in the game. There is no strongest or weakest character players and do not judge the book by it's cover. Because usually players consider someone who can withstand high damage is Strong but when that player attacks, the damage caused are low. That's because of their statistic build are more focused to vitality (health) which is vital for survival. And doesn't mean someone wearing a high level armor are considered strong either. It only depends on their stat build and their equipments (rich people won't have trouble with obtaining strong equipments) And mostly popular type of build is players who focus on strength so can cause hell of damage esspecially with a Strong upgraded weapon. But unfortunately they are prone to death.

Some players naturally try to fight the offender and some escapes instead. Mostly alot of players chose to flee rather then fight because if they die, its possible to drop equipped weapons and armor. That's also one of the cause which leads players into making enemies in the game and becomes a personal matter. This is perhaps why it's called a real-life based game as there's development of friendships, relationships, enemies and whatever that we happens to have in real-life basis. You will need to have alot of patience and effort in leveling up your character. Leveling up is the main priority in the game. Without leveling, you won't progress. Hence, no stat upgrades. And it's not easy to level up too as it requires finding party groups. Leveling solo is a big shot but you still can if you're not able to find any available party.

For this RAN online games I’ve played at egames server, followed by myrosso server and the last RAN Online server that I’ve played is a private server called TrilogyRAN server. Overall, I'm satisfied playing with this game and gained a lot of memorable moments.
